The Buccaneers' 2010 schedule gives fans a reason for hope

Say what you will about the Bucs and their offseason dormancy, but with the NFL releasing its 2010 regular season schedule on Tuesday, things are looking up for next year after all.

The Bucs open the regular season September 12 at home against the Cleveland Browns, who are coming off of a 5-11 season in '09. Four of their first seven, as well as three of the final five games will be played at Raymond James Stadium. However, during a five week stint from 10/31-11/28, the Bucs will be on the road for all but one of those contests. In lieu of using the word easy when describing Tampa Bay's schedule, it's apparent that the schedule makers have at the very least made it managable for the Bucs to handle, compared to last season's brutal schedule that ultimately contributed to their 3-13 record.
